Advocate Counseling SA
Therapy for Individuals, Couples, And Families
Many people are hurting; they feel their own brokenness and/or have problems in relationships. Others are concerned about their loved one’s pain and suffering. Unresolved previous trauma continues to haunt people like a tattoo that cannot be washed off; it complicates relationships. My goals for clients include not only alleviating suffering, but also developing healthy attitudes and behaviors that promote mental, spiritual, and physical well-being so that they will thrive. My goal is to facilitate healing for my clients, both within themselves and in their relationships. While I respect the beliefs of my clients, I practice counseling from an evangelical worldview. I strive to integrate traditional counseling methods with Christian spirituality.
Common problems that clients bring to me include relationship problems with their spouse or significant other, their children, child behavior problems, depression, anxiety, grief, past trauma, addictions, and problems adjusting to changes in life. I work with families, individuals, adolescents, children, and couples. Clients are encouraged and encouraged to set SMART goals. Specific, Measurable. Attainable. Realistic. We work together to accomplish these goals. As a companion, I walk alongside my clients with the goal to achieve self-sufficiency as quickly as possible. It would be my privilege to work with you to achieve your goals.
