Don't we all want to be really alive for as long as we are alive? My search for a community where I believe that can happen brought me to Ida Culver House Broadview, where my husband and I are now on the Waiting List. What drew me most was the sense of warmth and energy and the multitude of interesting activities to engage in. And the staff, who are incredibly kind and smart and helpful. I can't say enough about how happy I am to have found this jewel. Linda Lewis, PhD, RN Emeritus Associate Professor - U of WA - Nursing

The best decision I made was to move into Ida Culver House Broadview! I was skeptical at first to leave my home in a quite neighborhood surrounded by trees to move to the “city” in an apartment-like setting, but the stairs and isolation were getting to be difficult. After visiting several facilities, I’d chosen ICHB because of the great vibe, lovely apartments, beautiful gardens and fantastic food. Since day one of moving in I’ve been amazed at how wonderful and interesting life can be! There are a wide variety of activities so there’s never a dull moment.

My mother spent four wonderful years at Ida Culver House Broadview. The staff was always available and quick to take care of any need. The buildings and gardens are well maintained, and the terrace garden in particular is a lovely spot. My mom always raved about the food and the sweet staff that served in the dining room. We will miss this warm and loving community.
