What families say about memory care at Ivy Park at Claremont

Ivy Park at Claremont holds a 4.4 rating across 36 Google reviews. Most of what families write is about the memory care team. They describe caregivers who are patient, attentive and steady from the morning shift through the night.

Several reviewers credit the activity staff with keeping residents engaged, both mentally and physically. One family says a parent moved over from another facility and became far more active, walking with a walker instead of relying on a wheelchair. Another describes getting photos and videos of a parent exercising.

The admissions staff comes up often too. Two reviewers say the team answered their questions and made a hard decision easier. Two families describe warm treatment during visits and real support after a loved one died. One reviewer notes that a parent needed some time to adjust before feeling at home.

Assisted living and memory care in Claremont

The company describes two levels of care: assisted living and a memory care neighborhood called Evergreen at Ivy. Its website names studio and one-bedroom apartments, a chef-led dining program with seasonal menus, and care plans that run from medication management to fuller daily help. It reports caregivers and medical technicians on duty around the clock, with licensed vocational nurses through the week, and the community is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

In Claremont, 80% of homes heat with utility gas, per the American Community Survey (2024).

One point stands out for families comparing communities. A reviewer with a background running group homes says many of the caregivers have worked at Ivy Park for years. In memory care, that kind of staff continuity is worth asking about on a tour.

My dad has been at Evergreen Memory Care at Ivy Park in Claremont for 5 months now. I used to run teen group homes and can say that they have very good and caring staff, many of whom have been there for years. My dad gets lots of attention and interactions. We are glad we made the right choice for him.

My mom spent over four years in the memory care unit at Ivy Park, and its predecessor, Sunrise. There wasn’t a day that went by in which I didn’t give thanks for having such a selfless, caring, kind, and capable bunch of folks looking after her. Our family spent quite a bit of time at Ivy Park visiting Mom, and we were always welcomed warmly and treated incredibly kindly. We would constantly remark to each other how grateful we were to have found such a wonderful facility so close to home.
